As we start the new year in Betws-y-Coed you will notice that the main A5 trunk road running through the village is undergoing major re surfacing which should be completed very soon ( Jan 18th )

Updates in the Village. A new Gallery is opening ( formerly Jenny Jones ) by Easter this year.

The Silver Fountain has re-opened as a very cosy pub ,and also meals.

The Conwy Falls Cafe has now changed hands and excellent meals are available here.

We have a brand new Doctors Surgery located at the top end of the Village in Pentre Du .

The TreeTop Adventure Centre is worth a visit as a new attraction.

More people visit Betws-y-Coed and Snowdonia than most other Welsh Tourist areas.

With the good range of accommodation provided in the village from Lodges, Hotels, B&B's Country Houses and quaint rural Inns to Bunk beds and Caravans and Campsites it is not surprising that Betws-y-Coed is very popular all year round.

Betws-y-Coed is vey centrally placed in the Snowdonia National Park making all the popular tourist attractions in under an hours travelling .

You can vist the famous Castles of Beaumaris,Conwy, Caernarfon, Criccieth Dolwyddelan and Harlech .

The famous Bodnant Gardens at Glan Conwy and the Italian Portmeirion Village are ideal places to visit.

The Slate mines at Blaenau Ffestiniog and the Narrow Gauge railways at Potmadoc are popular too.

For Walkers and climbers , you are in ideal country with Snowdon top of the list.
