Betws-y-Coed has many waterfalls close to the village. The Swallow Falls is the most popular. If you can find the Mare's Tail waterfall it is very spectactular especially on high rainfall days . Take the road out of Betws-y-Coed going over the Pont y Pair Bridge. Follow this road all the way to the next T junction. Turn left and drive about 100 yards until you see a gateway and Car Park. Stop here and follow the woodland path up to see the falls.(Free )

The Conwy Falls are located along the path from the Conwy falls Cafe just off the A5 turning for Penmachno. Very spectacular if there has been a lot of rain falling and the river is high.
