Popular Walks around Betws-y-Coed
An easy walk around the golf course and river bank
Start out from the Visitor Centre and go through the gate to the left beside the river. Follow this track all the way around the golf course boundary and river bank. The walk ends by the  entrance to the golf club. You can then cross over the railway line bridge to back to the centre of Betws-y-Coed.

Llyn Elsi Walk.
A very popular walk up to this stunning Lake. Steep in places and not suitable for less active people.
Start the walk behind the Church in the centre of the village. Follow this Forestry track signed for Llyn Elsi. Half way up
You’ll pass four paths leading away from the one you’re on (two lefts, a right, and another left) – continue past each of these, keeping an eye out for an abandoned cottage on your right. The path then forks to the left before bearing back to the right and continuing southward, where you’ll spot Llyn Elsi for the first time. Well worth the effort on a nice sunny day. Return the same way or even go round the lake for a longer walk.
