Gardens to Visit Nr Betws-y-Coed

On everyones wish list is a trip to Bodnant Gardens at Tal y Cafn. 
During this time of year ( Mid May  to the end of May ) the Laburnhum Arch should be in full flower.

The azaleas will also be in full colour. A new section of the garden is open to the public this year. The Garden is a National Trust Garden, well worth a visit.

A less publicised garden and well worth a visit ( Free Entry & parking ) is the Bangor University Treborth Arboretum.
Head towards the Menai Bridge and turn left before going over the bridge. Follow this road until you come to the car parking area.

Formal terraces, a water garden and pond, together with sloping lawns, ornamental shrubs and coniferous trees, some of which were planted in Victorian times. In the Spring and early Summer, species of Rhododendron and Azalea are ablaze with colour. Cafe & Car Parking . Entrance Fee £4.00
